Homeschool Day!

Join us for a day of discovery at Armand Bayou Nature Center. ABNC is hosting a fun-filled day of activities for homeschoolers to come out, learn, play, and explore! Our Homeschool Day is a come-and-go program that offers a unique opportunity for your family to take a walk on the wild side!

  • $5 Per Discounted Adult (College Student, Teacher, Military & First Responders)

Some activities included in the program are:

  • Mini Dip-Netting

  • Crafts

  • Live Animal Demonstrations

  • Natural Demonstrations(Information Stations)

  • Nature Scavenger Hunt

  • Farmhouse Tours

Registration:

  • Advanced registration is encouraged, however ticket purchase at front desk will be available

  • Program participants ages 4 to 18 welcome, with an accompanying adult.

What You’ll Need:

  • Please bring a Snack and Refillable Water Bottle

  • Dress for the weather

  • Closed-toe shoes(No Sandals, Slides, Crocs, etc)

Cancellations:

  • Payment is non-refundable unless the program is cancelled by Armand Bayou Nature Center (ABNC) staff.

  • If ABNC cancels for any reason, you will be given the option of applying the fees to another program or a refund.

  • Participants will be outside for the majority of the event; however, indoor areas are available in case of extreme weather conditions.
