EcoAfternoons

Continue your child’s learning experience with fun afternoon activities. After a supervised picnic, participants are off to a new adventure; exploring, crafting, and more!

EcoAfternoons are an extension of EcoProgram classes. Students engage in activities that focus on exploration and creativity inspired by nature.

These outings help encourage different ways of engaging with the natural world.

  • Once a month, Wednesday from 11:30am- 1:30pm

  • This drop-off program is for children ages 7-14 registered in EcoSchoolers or EcoAdventurers

  • Rate: $15/program

Registration:

  • REGISTRATION REQUIRED! To ensure the safety of our staff and your children there will be NO WALK-INS accepted to any class.

  • Participants must be signed up for EcoSchoolers or EcoAdventurers class on Wednesdays or Fridays of the same week.

  • Programs held rain or shine.

  • Please bring a lunch, refillable water bottle, change of clothes, closed toed shoes and dress for the weather.

Cancellations:

  • Payment is non-refundable unless the program is cancelled by Armand Bayou Nature Center (ABNC) staff.

  • If ABNC cancels for any reason, you will be given the option of applying the fees to another program or a refund.

  • If your child is dismissed from the program, NO refund will be given.

  • Dress for the weather - There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!
