Marsh Mania
Galveston Bay Foundation invites you to get wet and wild while helping to clean up Galveston Bay. Marsh Mania, held in May, allows volunteers to get down and dirty in the name of conservation! Volunteers can feel good knowing they are helping to create more than 10 acres of habitat in the Galveston Bay area while having a great time.
This annual restoration effort involves clean up and planting of cord grass and sea grass - helping to provide homes for wildlife, protect our shorelines and improve our water quality. There are four bay area sites available for restoration. Call 281-332-3381 for times, locations and more information on how you can help. Check the ABNC Calendar for this year's scheduled dates and times.
