Scouting Programs
ABNC offers workshops to help Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts obtain a wide variety of badges. Many programs are available, including overnight camping. Contact Shauna Trevino via email or call 281-474-2551 ext 13 to make reservations or for more information.

All workshops at Armand Bayou Nature Center have a minimum number of 10 scouts and a maximum number of 25 scouts. All classes are taught by CPR certified instructors and all materials are included in the price.
Overnight Camping-Nature Adventures
Heighten your senses as you explore the three-eco-systems of Armand Bayou Nature Center: Bayou, Forest, and Prairie. Travel the trails of our native ancestors. Listen for owls and frog calls, while looking for signs of deer, armadillos and raccoons. Observe the artistry of nature in patterns, webs and grasses.
Two 45-minute activities are included with your reservation. You can choose from the following:
Guided night hike, Recycled craft activity, Star gazing and/or a Reptile Demonstration
*Additional activities such as hayrides, catch-and-release fishing, and canoeing are available by reservation and extra fees will apply.
We will provide:- A choice of campsites
- Two 45 min. activities-listed above
- Camping area with tables and benches
- Open fire ring (no grate)
- Camping supplies-tents, bedrolls, pillows, toiletries, etc.
- Food-dinner, snacks, breakfast, drinks, etc.
- Flashlights, sunscreen, bug spray
All overnights at Armand Bayou Nature Center have a minimum number of 10 scouts and a maximum number of 125 scouts. Please call for pricing and availability.
