School Outreach Programs

Bring Armand Bayou Nature Center to you! Programs may include a hands-on demonstration, a slide presentation, and an informative talk with a question and answer period. Please note that some demonstrations are offered only on a seasonal basis when living specimens can be acquired.  Bilingual programs are available on a limited basis for Spanish-speaking students.

Grades: K-12^th

Scheduling: Outreaches may be scheduled for weekdays Tuesday-Friday between10:00am and 3:00pm.  Each program is 45 minutes long.

Call 281-474-2551 x 13 Tuesday-Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm to make a reservation.  Once we receive your reservation, a confirmation letter will be mailed or emailed to you.  Please make a reservation at least two weeks before your desired program date.

Cost: Cost: $150.00 for the first 45 minute program; $100.00 for additional (consecutive) 45-minute sessions, up to three 45-minute sessions.

Payment: A deposit of at least 50% of the fee is due two weeks prior to the event. Full payment is due on or before the day of the program. Please make checks payable to Armand Bayou Nature Center. Credit and debit card payments can be taken over the phone.

Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 1 week in advance to receive refunds.

Community Outreach Programs

ABNC can visit libraries and community events with an educational focus. Requests must be sent in writing at least 4 weeks in advance.
