Mommy & Me Classes

Armand Bayou Nature Center's newest educational programs, Mommy and Me classes, provide a fun introduction to animals, plants, and other nature topics.  Classes use literature, music, movement, storytelling, art, live animal demonstrations, games, and use of the five senses to make nature come alive. The Mommy and Me program is underwritten by the John P. McGovern Foundation.

Ages This program is open to young children (ages 24 months to 4 years) and accompanying adults.
Schedule Classes will be offered from 9:30-11:00am on Fridays, September through June, on the dates listed below. Groups with 10 or more children may call to request an additional class session.
Fee $6.00 members; $8.00 non-members (Fee includes child and adult.)
Class Limits The minimum class size is 10 children (with accompanying adults). The maximum is 24 children (with their grown-up helpers). Individuals or groups may attend the programs.
