ABNC Educational Information
Part of Armand Bayou Nature Center's mission is to provide environmental education to our neighbors in the surrounding communities. As such, ABNC delivers a broad variety of educational programs on a regular basis. School groups can enjoy field trips to ABNC on various nature or historical subjects. ABNC also offers outdoor nature camps each summer and winter, EcoCamp and Winter Camp. ABNC staff and trained volunteers can deliver programs both on-site and off-site. These include: Scout programs, children's birthday parties, guided trail hikes, animal demonstrations, turn-of-the-century crafts demonstrations, canoe and pontoon boat trips.
