Annual Special Events & Programs
Any time of the year - winter, spring, summer or fall, you will find something special and fun to do at Armand Bayou Nature Center! In the spring participate in Galveston Bay clean-up and join the Rivers, Lakes, Bays n' Bayous Trash Bash, or join the Earth Day celebrations. In May help with the annual Bayou Boil fund raiser, plant march grass or build wildlife habatat during Marsh Mania. In the heat of the summer send your restless 4 - 13 yr olds to Summer EcoCamp. Then, get ready for fall and a season packed full of activities including - Prairie Pandemonium: Prairie Restoration, a Halloween party for all ages Creepy Crawlers, and last but not least - join the Fall Festival and celebrate the harvest season. Just because its winter doesn't mean you have to stay indoors - your Pre-K thru 8th graders will enjoy our Winter Camp.
