Nature Pond

The boardwalk crosses over a pond where turtles float on the surface or sun themselves on logs. There have even been occasions when small alligators have taken up residence in the pond. On warm sunny days try to spot one of the wide variety of water snakes. Sometimes these snakes are seen in the grasses surrounding the pond. The pond is teaming with life.
